Stop 05 · Built for very large files

A fast lane for the files that are too big for the slow road

Fast lane for very large uploads with resume support.

Raw footage, design archives, disk images and full project exports do not belong in the same queue as a spreadsheet. The Express Upload Lane splits huge files across several streams at once, verifies every piece, and lets you pause or resume without starting over.

On board

What you get at this stop

1

Parallel streams

Large files are sent over several connections at once to make the most of your bandwidth.

2

Resume from the last checkpoint

If the upload is interrupted, it restarts from the last verified chunk instead of the beginning.

3

Files up to 250 GB

Upload single files far larger than a typical browser upload allows, without splitting them yourself.

4

Checksum on arrival

Every file is verified after upload, so what you stored matches what you sent, bit for bit.

5

Queue and schedule

Drag in a whole folder, line up the files, and start the run now or when you leave for the night.

6

Pause without penalty

Need your bandwidth back for a call? Pause the lane, take the call, and carry on where you stopped.

The journey

Four steps from start to arrival

  1. 1

    Drop the files in

Drag files or folders onto the lane, from the web app or the desktop app.

  2. 2

    The lane splits the load

Each file is divided into chunks and sent across parallel streams.

  3. 3

    Pause or lose connection

Nothing breaks. Verified chunks stay saved, and the lane resumes when you are ready.

  4. 4

    Verify and arrive

A final checksum confirms the file is intact, then it appears in your storage ready to share.

Questions about Express Upload Lane

Will the lane use all of my bandwidth?

By default it uses what it can, but you can set a speed limit or pause the lane at any time to free up your connection.

What if my computer restarts mid-upload?

When you reopen the app, the lane remembers where it was and resumes from the last verified chunk.

Is there a limit to how many large files I can queue?

A single queue holds up to 1,000 files. You can start another queue after it finishes.
