A bay for every device
Register laptops, desktops and phones once and each gets its own backup history you can browse by date.
Stop 04 · Backups that happen while you sleep
A safe depot where every device parks its backup nightly.
Buses do not sleep on the street, and your devices should not hold your only copy. Depot Backup gives every laptop and phone a parking bay. Each night, during the window you choose, the device pulls in, unloads what changed, and goes home with a clean bill of health.
Register laptops, desktops and phones once and each gets its own backup history you can browse by date.
Pick a quiet window and backups run on their own, resuming if the machine was asleep or offline.
Back up everything for peace of mind, or just the folders that matter and skip the rest.
Data is protected on its way to the depot and while it sits there, built with encryption from the first byte.
After the first full pass, the depot only collects what is new or modified, so nightly runs stay quick.
Get a short summary of what was parked, what was skipped and anything that needs your attention.
Install the iCloudBus app and give the device a name. It gets its own parking bay.
Select the whole device or specific folders, and set the nightly window that suits you.
At the scheduled time the device uploads what changed since the previous night and checks it on arrival.
Read the summary, and restore a single file or a whole device from any night in the history.
| Schedule | Nightly, within a window you choose |
|---|---|
| Retention | Last 30 nightly copies by default |
| Platforms | Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android |
| Protection | Encryption in transit and at rest |
| Reports | Morning summary by email, per device or per workspace |
| Restore | Single files, folders or a complete device |
The backup is simply postponed. As soon as the device is awake and online, it heads to the depot and catches up.
The first pass copies everything you selected, so it takes the longest. After that, only changes travel and nightly runs are much shorter.
Yes. Phones park their photos, videos and documents in the depot just like computers park their folders.
